The 5 steps
A process of recognising what is harmful:
1. notice any pre-relief of anything that you are about to do: be it that cup of coffee, that glass of wine of beer, just BEFORE you do it, not in the moment, not after
2. anything that feels like pre-relief is HELL, designed to make you suffer
3. reverse it by not taking that action
4. notice what feels bad, not as knowledge of really bad, but just bad, i.e. something you would not enjoy
5. do it as long as you don't endanger others or yourself. any HARM to anyone or any DANGEROUS ACTION IS OFF-LIMITS.
